Accepting these terms

By creating or using a Cambris account, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live and must not use Cambris if doing so would violate applicable law.

Your account

You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and activity under your account. Beta access may be invite-only. You may not transfer, sell, or share access credentials, probe the service for vulnerabilities, interfere with other users, or use Cambris to violate law or another person’s rights.

Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, photos, grow records, and other content you submit. You grant Cambris a limited license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service and to carry out the sharing choices you make.

You are responsible for having the rights to upload your content and for deciding what to include in a shared report. Anyone with an active share link may be able to view its selected contents, so revoke links you no longer want available.

Beta service and changes

Cambris may contain defects, change without notice, lose or alter features, or experience interruptions during beta. Please keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose. We may suspend access to protect the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or end a beta program.

Feedback is welcome. If you send ideas or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, while your grow content remains yours.

Plans, purchases, and cancellation

External beta access is currently complimentary and will not automatically convert into a paid subscription. If paid plans are introduced, Cambris will show price, duration, renewal, and cancellation terms before purchase. App Store purchases are billed and managed by Apple under your Apple account.

Deleting your Cambris account does not necessarily cancel a separately managed App Store subscription. Manage or cancel that subscription through Apple as well.

Not professional advice

Cambris records and organizes information you provide. It does not provide agricultural, safety, medical, legal, or regulatory advice and does not guarantee any plant, crop, yield, or other outcome. You remain responsible for your grow, equipment, environment, and compliance with applicable laws.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, Cambris will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, crops, or opportunities arising from use of the beta.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer-protection rights.

Ending use and changes to these terms

You may stop using Cambris or delete your account at any time. Provisions that reasonably need to survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—will continue to apply. We may update these terms as Cambris evolves and will post a new effective date or provide notice when a change is material.
