Your data, plainly explained
Privacy Policy
Cambris is a private grow-memory tool. We collect the information needed to store, sync, and help you review your grows—we do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Effective August 29, 2026
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, display name, authentication credentials in hashed form, and workspace details.
- Beta application information: contact details, broad grow setup and workflow answers, device information, participation preferences, and consent records submitted when you apply for closed-beta access.
- Grow content: spaces, cycles, plant groups, notes, logs, photos and other media, checkpoints, issues, tasks, environment records, imports, and cycle outcomes.
- Sharing choices: the reports you create, their selected contents, expiration settings, and revocation status.
- Device and service data: app version, device and push-token information, product interactions, diagnostics, request logs, and security events.
- Subscription information: plan, entitlement status, renewal or expiry dates, and provider transaction references. Cambris does not receive your full payment-card details.
How we use information
We use this information to operate Cambris, authenticate your account, sync and store your grow memory, display your history, deliver reminders, honor your sharing choices, provide support, secure the service, understand product reliability and use, and administer beta or paid access.
Sharing and service providers
Your workspace is private unless you deliberately create a shared report. Anyone with an active report link may view only the information you selected until the link expires or you revoke it.
We use service providers to run Cambris, including Railway for application hosting, Neon for managed PostgreSQL, Cloudflare R2 for media storage, Expo for push delivery and mobile services, Sentry for error diagnostics, PostHog for product analytics, and Apple for App Store distribution and purchases. They process information for us under their own security and privacy terms.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect Cambris or its users, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and account deletion
We keep account and grow information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can delete your account inside the mobile app from Account → Delete account. The app asks you to confirm the account email before deletion.
Deletion immediately ends access, revokes refresh and push tokens, disables shared links, and tombstones account and grow records so they are segregated from normal product use. Cambris also requests physical deletion of stored media and associated analytics data. Provider cleanup and limited encrypted backup copies may take up to 30 days to expire. We may retain restricted records for service integrity, security, fraud prevention, transactions, or legal obligations, with direct identifiers removed where practical.
Deleting a Cambris account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple. Apple subscriptions must be managed separately through your App Store account.
Security and international processing
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect your information, including encrypted network transport, access controls, separated production and staging environments, and restricted administrative access. No service can promise absolute security.
Cambris and its providers may process information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where they operate. Data-protection laws can differ between countries.
Your choices
You can control push categories, revoke shared reports, request support, and delete your account from the app. To ask about access, correction, export, or a deletion that could not be completed in-app, email mewslicks@gmail.com.
Children and changes
Cambris is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy as the beta and service evolve. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-app notice.
